Here it is.

The final boss.

I'd love to see a part of your process.

You are now the artist. 8 weeks into the beginning of a lifelong journey.

Congratulations team.

Big Love,

JL

I feel the joy of this so hard at the moment. After doing the same, I've been smiling so much. Ahhhhh the memories to come. Keen to see the finished product and hear about where it takes you.

That's so epic. I want to learn how to knit (and repair, and sew)! Love this.

This is a fun one.

What object are you going to re-purpose? Remember, it doesn't have to be something big and grand. You could paint an old plate that needs a new life.

Or, go to your favourite cafe, and ask for a copy of their menu. Write all over it, and frame it!

Big Love,

JL

P.s don't forget to post what you do!

Hey everyone,

We're getting deep into it now!

Tell me: What colours are you inspired by this week, what trends/themes are starting to show up in your creative work / observations?

Big Love,

JL

Huge turnout! Always great for accountability.

Jess K. Yep, definitely kick on with the strength. Focus on consistency over weight. It'll take a bit to kick in, but it will!

Touch grass! Great for your proprioception.

They're all pages and notes. Hopefully you get someone to run with or some time in the sun soon.

Hey Jess!Loved seeing the photo of you and one of your boys. Solid work on making it half-way through, and even better, for listening to your body. You're doing the right things. Adding in the cross training is great; cycling, elliptical, swimming - wonderful options. For the first time, I battled with knee pain for the majority of last year. This also coincided with me dropping off on my strength work. Building up your quads, calfs, hamstrings - everything below the hip, will help take load off your knees. Also, adding in mobility so you're lengthening out your quads or getting some massage. My quads were terribly tight when my knee pain was at it's worst. The goal is to "bulletproof" everything around your knee, so all the load isn't hitting one spot. Examples of exercises: Standing split squat, "90/90s" for mobility, Sissy-squat for quads, calf raises, single leg glut bridges, and bulgarian split squats... these are all my staples. JL
