Hello from Germany!

I was quiet so far because of life being so fast atm but I joined the program again! Had so much fun last year starting the beginner's track. I kept running more or less regularly throughout the winter and now following the intermediate track. Josh's workshops are so cool!

Corrie how are you doing? Going strong on the land and in the water? At the moment I'm surfing a lot. But I have also lots of days I'm not doing anything when the weather is not good enough for doing yoga outside... Missing consistency 🥲

Yes, you are right. The wish to progress with surfing/skating/etc. sometimes feels like a constant moving goal haha. There's definitely this inner critic in me that compares and is not satisfied. I love your reflective questions! They make so much sense. And I keep reminding me of the place I started with all the stuff and how far I've come. And to be grateful for the experience, every time in the ocean, every sunset surf. This feeling is incredible and makes me happy no matter the waves and the progress in the end. 🧡

That's a cool idea Corrie ! Maybe I'll do the same wenn I return back home from traveling in December. Running strong through the German winter 💪🏽

For me it's the same - connection. I'm traveling and I feel pretty lonely sometimes. Although I always meet new people and most of them are super interesting and nice, I miss those deep connections, you know?

And I'm craving to be bold and daring. I'm traveling to learn surfing and a lot of times I feel anxious and I'm thinking about not being good enough or progressing fast enough. Same for surfskating. I wish I could see it more as a way to be playful and have fun.
