I actually finished an artwork this summer that I started 3 years ago and has since been in my head. Was so fricking liberating! I feel like often we need to get things done not even for the thing itself but to free up head space and „tidy the shelfs“ in there :-)

Finding out that the black currents in my dads garden have a delicious marzipan like taste (despite being too dry from the excessive heat this year to make juice out of and he already left them for the birds) - picked a whole bowl to take home with me ☺️

This photo is from a little while back but fun fact I had to stop at a little kiosk half way to ask for a musli bar or something cause I felt a bit dizzy and needed some energy. They hadn’t opened yet but one of the staff gifted me her chocolate bar she had brought for her lunch 🥹 🫶🏼

PS: Quite fitting for this weeks huddle Erika - won’t go for long runs in the morning without anything to eat before ☝🏼

I took a walk without my phone or music last week - just with my notebook. The observation that made me stop was this:

The trickling noise that sounds like rain from a house covered with wild wine a bit further down the street. I’ve always admired it green coat, but never paid attention to the sound. It’s quite loud really - is it insects or seeds dropping? - it instantly took me back to my late grandparents house and made me revisit childhood weekend stays there in summer 🌞

No photo of the house with wines because no phone. Curious if some of you know the plan and the sound :)
