Winter has arrived, at least in the north! The trails I run in the summer are now prepped as ski trails ❄️Anyone else replace their running with cross-country, nordic or backcountry skiing? I’m enjoying it while I can! The snow tends to rain away a dozen times before it settles 😜

I’m sometimes restless, antsy, a bit frustrated or just feeling like there’s stuck energy that needs to move. And afterwards … feeling so much better! Spacious, fluid, energized.

The seemingly simple question «what do I want» is so important, and sometimes it gets buried under all the «shoulds» and expectations and pesky rationalisations. It’s a question that for me requires a full on brain dump and then the kind of deep listening that I find easiest after dancing with it and sitting with it and really grounding myself in an environment where I feel like me. So I’ll be doing a little mini retreat at home this weekend, and I’ll use your journal prompts then! And do movement sessions in between. And talk to my cats about it, of course 🐾

I might tie this into a beautiful ritual called «The 13 Magical Nights». If anyone is interested in knowing more, I’ll be happy to share.

Hey ladies! Good work! 🌟

I’m doing a tweaked version, where I’ve jumped to the advanced plan and I’m subbing some runs to indoor bike (especially intervals and/or when it’s absolutely atrocious weather). I’m also mixing up some of the animal flow and strength sessions for variety.

I hope everyone feels strong and energised, and that the summer stamina glow keeps lasting and lasting.

Hey team!

My why:

Because I can! I get to exist in this wonderful, capable body and I want to do right by my whole self. I want to put self-love into motion. I want to move in ways that feel good - even when that includes enduring temporary hardship. And I want to train my resilience and trust in myself by following through and showing myself the magic of reaching milestones and finishing side-quests in this vast, wild, unpredictable ride called life.

Mantras - the cheesier, the better:

I am free! I can do hard things! We ride at dawn!

And:

I am a finisher, not a quitter!

And finally:

Move and make mischief ❤️
