Lights a fire under my 🍑every time. It’s also got a beat I can match my pace to, and is dynamic enough to use for fartslek.

To me, photography is a way of observing on purpose. This morning I brought out the camera because the light and the clouds were being drama queens. And then I noticed the lichen on this standing stone and the thistles too … Taking pictures isn’t necessary in order to fully notice, of course. It’s just another way of practicing it.

I’m going for FREE. That lightness and sense of fluidity that comes from being strong, capable and supple at the same time, that is my definition of freedom in this context. I’ve been held prisoner by physical pain in the past - and that prison can easily become a chronic limitation the mind upholds long after the body has recovered. I’m ready to blast through, paradoxically by taking things slow and moving my badass self with love in each step ❤️

Erika Pretending to be a ninja always makes my runs more fun. I couldn’t have snuck up on anybody, though, huffing and puffing like a 🚂 😆😅

Woo! 💃🏻 Petronella from Norway here! I loved last year’s Summer Stamina program so much I decided to do it again on my own starting this week.
