Caitlin

Hey Reina! Thanks so much for introducing yourself to the group :)

Ok I TOTALLY relate to this. I grew up in Perth, Australia and surfed but truly never felt like I was part of a real deep surf community until I moved to El Salvador. I’m not sure why, it was friendly in the water in Aus, but super interesting to me you’re feeling similar and find it a struggle to connect deeply to other surfers, why do you think it is? In any case, you can find a community of surfers here, and maybe see if there’s anyone here in your area. Welcome! 🌊 🤍

For the moment, but not forever! The way PDFS present in this new hosting platform is very different from the old model so we're still working out how to offer the recipes on here. Stay tuned!

This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing Sarah. That commitment to being rather than constantly doing- I think so many can relate to that in some way. It takes courage to let yourself soften and love yourself through all your phases. Being a woman is like being many women, we change and feel so much over the course of a month! So happy you’re here, wild woman and all. We see ya! 🔥

🫶 Love this Jordan. Thank you for sharing!

Hey Imola!

Thanks for riding along with the Club for so long, I'm so glad you finally jumped in! Forestry sounds really demanding and intense, although also amazing, so I’m glad you’ve set the commitment to do one small thing for yourself every day. And I’m glad that thing is the Club. We got you! 💫

Hey Laura! Thanks so much for sharing 🫶

Right there with you on that splitting life between a few countries thing, it seems like you have a good thing going in each country with the Mexican Food truck in NZ (what’s it called? That’s awesome!) and congratulations on buying the house in Austria. You’re going to find many women on here living between a few countries on the yearly rotation. As Erika and I head back to Canada and Guatemala this week from El Salvador, we’ve been deep in the packing-everything-up to store for months phase, which is always stressful- I know you know :)

Welcome!

Hello babe! Welcome to the club chat.

With this new iteration of the Club, one of the things we were most excited about was this chat, where now we can connect, vibe with each other and create a true community. The Club is a global platform and I love the idea that we can connect from all corners of the world, on topics we’re all so passionate about.

A big reason we created Salty, and the Club, is because for many of us, we don’t feel like we have people that really ‘get us’ in our immediate surroundings. Some of you do, and that’s awesome, but sometimes our people are in other countries, other places, and it’s so good to hear ‘I feel that way too.’ Women who live, think, and thrive outside the lines. Women who feel like they were meant to live a bold and epic life. So, I’m so happy you found us. What do they say? Wave your wild flag so the other wild ones know where to find you, or something like that.

I’d love to know, firstly, where are you in the world right now? And secondly,

What’s one thing you’re committing to while you’re here, a promise you’d like to make with yourself?
Big or small. Physical or emotional. Just something you’re choosing for you.

I’m so looking forward to getting to know you guys on here, and finally feeling like there’s a real conversation.

PS: Lurkers totally welcome. You don’t have to post to belong here. We all do it hahaha.
