Exactly! We all fall off, and get back on when we can :) we're setting up habits for life not just for a season, right? Amazing work Casey!

Hey Imola! That can be tough, especially as you said; you're not traveling because you want to, but because you have to. Hopefully there’s a chapter coming soon where you get to stay put for a bit, breathe, and reconnect with your people or find more likeminded souls. In the meantime- we're here for you!

As soon as you unlock one thing, you'll want the next step. As soon as you level up, you'll start wanting the next level. You'll never fully reach a permanent place of 'I'm there, now I can be happy.' it is CONSTANTLY moving. So it's best to remember to be curious each time- what did you learn about yourself or the sport this session? What is a small win? What's something you learned from? Someone with less progress than you could be looking at you thinking 'man, I wish I x like her.'

Literally so much of life is tasks and chores and responsibilities. This can be where you measure and push yourself, as it's important, but also let it be the place where you take the pressure off, surf and skate with people who all genuinely support each other and are stoked for each other, and remember no one is judging, scoring, and there is no prize for getting there faster. Even if you're moving slowly you're probably growing and advancing in so many micro ways you don't even know it.

I've been hearding this a lot lately- people craving connection. It's definitely exciting to meet new people while traveling and it scratches a different itch in our souls, but sometimes we just crave that effortless feeling of spending time with someone who knows us deeply and 'gets' us, right?

I really relate to what you're saying about surfing and skating - I tend to push myself a lot and expect myself to progress so fast at every sport I try- which never happens for me haha it definitely takes me a LONG time to learn any new sport. Especially on Instagram, where everyone shows their highlight reels- it's easy to feel like EVERYONE else is shredding. But most likely, it took them a lot of time, crashes, plateaus and frustrations. Remember this is literally never a finish line with skate and surf- never.

Hi Sophia! Yes they'll stay available on the site :)

Oh Cait it's so wild to me because I think your classes and teachings are so necessary, I told you how much that 'tension creates integrity' line meant for me, and then it just reminds me we ALL struggle with self doubt and not feeling good enough at times. I'm so happy you're such a vital part of this community!
