Hi my salty soul friends!!

My name is Lauren. I'm currently based in Minnesota & I want to live in a spanish speaking country next year where I can also surf often. I've been to Huanchaco Peru & Antigua/Lake Atitlan, Guatemala and love them both.

I'm wondering if any of you have recommendations for how to choose a place to live for a while? 

I'd love a place with a community like salty club, somewhere with lots of natural beauty and not a huge party town.
